Wake up and flip the script on the festival, with yoga and a sweat inducing bootcamp led by Toronto’s top fitness instructors set to the funk-fuelled beats of rising (and shining) Toronto producer, Harrison. Finally, join us as the energetic and “ever-woke” Rich Aucoin brings down the house with a backyard dance party.
This first ever morning festival event, hosted by Lauren Toyota, will have you forgetting about any of the after-parties. Show up in your best workout gear and be prepared to shake up your outfit with some fresh new apparel.
Lauren Toyota spent nearly a decade on network television as a host and producer, but now’s her time to shine on YouTube! Lauren is loving life, living life, and learning along the way – sharing her passion for food, cooking and living consciously with her growing and engaged audiences. On her channel Hot For Food, Lauren cooks up vegan love with her partner John Diemer. They've got a knack for creating vegan versions of popular comfort foods like mac and cheese, burgers, caesar salad, and even cheesecake, bringing vegan eating into the mainstream.
"The power of his music that makes people want to dance, is that it’s a combination of the music, and what he’s doing on stage,” says comedian and ex-roommate Mark Little. “It’s not a plea for people to dance, but it’s kind of a persistent ‘Dance, dance, don’t forget to dance.’ I’ve never seen it work before. He gets people to dance when they wouldn’t normally dance—it’s the same quality that makes you not-annoyed with his positivity.”
